Ridgelines are the best travel, beware it is easy to head down wrong spur after leaving the cut track. Once you get to BM96RIDGE2, plot is 165m at 280 degrees away. On the way down, make sure you get to BM96RIDGE2, as it is easy to end up on a spur on the true right of the ridge you want. Continue 192m at 265 degrees up ridge toward BW114MATAGOURI (E1658436 N5322833) and a small area of matagouri. Head into the thick manuka scrub and follow any obvious trails toward BW114P (E1658401 N5322934) via the vicinity of BW114TRACK (E1658380 N5322861). Plot is 110m approximately 340 degrees from BW114MATAGOURI.
